That’s just how it is.
A grey dawn is rising, the fires dying. The sun burns on and the sun burns slow.
So let’s take a breath from that vitriol, from “fuck you and fuck them all”.
Everything will change from night to dawn to day, so we bled out the brakes just to laugh at every line we sung for every song forever young.
We cut our teeth in the heat of a roaring endless summer, to live and breathe and kick and shout like it’s cool, so all the rest just don’t mean nothing anymore; and that’s just how it is.
They’ve got a lot of nerve coming around here with too much of not enough when there’s nothing left from bleeding everybody dry.

Becoming everything that I hated becoming, but I’m running now so just keep walking if you see me around. Keep my name out your mouth and your face to the ground.
Complacent, guess I caught myself saying “If it gets you by then it’s alright” but I loosened grip and watched it slip and pass me by, I’m tearing at the night.
And that’s just how it is.
Well I’ve seen it showing signs of light. The clouds leave it just buried out of sight. So I’ll swallow fire, I’ll spit out fate, to burn out the sun when I’m leaving.
Just to keep the glow alive inside, and that’s just how it is.
Still the sun burns on, and still the sun burns slow.

Kick ass EP. I’m a big fan of No Trigger’s whole catalog but this EP harkins back to the good ‘ol Canyoneer days and man is it refreshing. Vocals are killer as always and the band continues to rock razor sharp guitar melodies that never get convoluted. Okay stop reading this and go support these guys. Don
